Upon completion 10904NAT Diploma of Social Media Marketing graduates may have a pathway into the BSB60520 Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication.
A person who has successfully completed imported training package units of competency as part of the qualification may seek credit towards a nationally recognised qualification that includes these units as either core or elective units.

Recognition of prior learning

Business Institute of Australia (BIA) supports the national policy of recognition of qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by other Registered Training Organisations (RTO). An application can be made for RPL/CT when the student believes that they have already attained the necessary skills and competencies elsewhere. An RPL application form is available upon request. The student will be required to provide documentation to support their application. Successful RPL/CT may result in the reduction of the course duration applied for.

Training and assessment

Depending on the mode of delivery and student cohort (onshore international, onshore domestic or offshore international) this course is delivered in a combination of classroom and online learning, or entirely online and contains practical sessions, research, and project work. Students are required to attend scheduled classes, study online, and complement their studies with self-paced learning in their own time.
